  • Documentary film: usually 90–120 minutes.
  • Full ceremony, every captured speech and first dance preserved.
  • Licensed music plus sound design for both films.
  • 3 social edits, about 30 seconds each, in vertical and landscape MP4.

Delivery & travel

  • Initial films online within 18 calendar weeks of your wedding.*
  • USB posted after you approve your completed package.
  • 100 km travel allowance from Melbourne Central.
  • Free travel for Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula weddings.

How many hours?

Start with your first and last must-film moments. Preparations, travel and a longer reception need more time. Martin will help you fit your priorities into the booked hours.

Which films?

A short highlight brings the day together in a few minutes. A longer documentary preserves your full ceremony, captured speeches and first dance; its length depends on the events filmed.

Travel, timing and delivery.

Travel and locations

Travel is free for weddings in the Yarra Valley and on the Mornington Peninsula across all three packages.

Elsewhere, travel is included when every filming location is within 50 km for Moments or 100 km for Polished and Full Journey, measured by Google Maps driving distance from Melbourne Central.

Outside the free regions, A$2 per excess kilometre including GST applies, based on the one-way distance to the furthest location minus your allowance. Mixed-region itineraries and any separate parking or accommodation costs are confirmed in your quote.

Coverage hours and extra time

Hours are consecutive and include travel between wedding locations. The scheduled start and finish are agreed around your priorities. Examples of wedding-day moments do not guarantee that every event will fit.

Events must take place within your booked hours and be reasonably available to film. For Moments and Polished, unusable footage is not guaranteed. Events outside coverage or not reasonably available to film are not guaranteed for Full Journey.

Polished and Full Journey preserve your full ceremony, every captured speech and first dance without shortening their content. Documentary lengths are estimates, not caps. Full Journey may include cultural performances and dancing according to your requirements, timeline and captured footage.

Full Journey’s second-filmmaker block is strategically scheduled and agreed during timeline planning; split coverage is not included.

Lead-filmmaker overtime is A$300 including GST for the first approved additional hour, then A$150 including GST per commenced 30 minutes. It is subject to availability and your express approval.

Additional time may provide more footage, but does not guarantee a longer film or another deliverable. Any added deliverable is agreed separately in writing.

Delivery timing and music

Initial completed films are delivered within 10 calendar weeks of the wedding for Moments, 16 for Polished and 18 for Full Journey. Requested client inputs must arrive by the agreed deadline.

Moments is delivered online. Polished and Full Journey are delivered online and on USB; the USB is posted after you approve the completed package.

Full Journey includes three distinct social edits, each approximately 30 seconds with licensed music. Each is supplied as vertical 9:16 and landscape 16:9 MP4 versions: six exported files. They arrive with the main package and share its two revision rounds.

You can share music preferences. Final music must be legally licensable under MJ’s applicable licence and suitable for the edit; otherwise an appropriate licensed alternative is selected. Licensed music plus sound design is included in Polished and Full Journey.
