For weddings more than 100 km from Boronia, Victoria, we charge $2 per kilometre. For interstate and international weddings, the travel fee generally covers return flights, one or two nights of accommodation and car hire if required. Yes — we love travelling to film weddings across regional Victoria. Many of the most beautiful and unique weddings take place outside Melbourne, and we’re always excited to capture those celebrations. We’ve filmed weddings at a range of regional locations including the Great Ocean Road, Daylesford, Bendigo, Shepparton, Myrtleford, Mansfield, Mt Hotham, Dargo, and East Gippsland. If you’re planning a regional wedding anywhere in Victoria, we’d be thrilled to be part of it. For regional weddings, additional travel costs may apply. This usually includes travel, meals, and accommodation so we can arrive early, stay well-rested, and take the best possible care while filming your wedding day. For most regional locations, we require two nights of accommodation to ensure we can arrive on time and avoid any early-morning travel risks on your wedding day.

To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% deposit based on the accepted quote. The remaining balance is due on your wedding day. All bookings are managed electronically, and all prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST.

We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance, especially for Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula weddings during spring and summer. Early booking ensures your preferred date and team availability.

Popular dates—especially spring and autumn weekends—can book out quickly, so securing your videographer early helps ensure availability. Many couples book their videographer soon after confirming their venue, as these are usually the first two suppliers to be secured. That said, if your wedding is sooner, feel free to reach out. If your date is still available, we would be more than happy to be part of your day and capture your story.

Yes. We use professional microphones and backup recorders to capture vows, speeches and music clearly, preserving every emotional word and laugh. Our audio recorders use 32-bit float recording for high-quality sound. We also connect a recorder to the venue’s PA system or the DJ’s soundboard and use multiple RØDE shotgun microphones on our cameras as backups.

Absolutely. We’ll guide you through music licensing and recommend cinematic tracks that match your vibe. Or, if you prefer, we’ll handpick songs that fit your story and energy.

Depending on the size and schedule of the wedding, I may work independently or with a second videographer. I generally recommend a second videographer for weddings with more than 150 guests or more than 10 hours of coverage. For smaller weddings, I am confident working independently. Once I understand your plans, I will recommend the best option for your day. I usually work independently for elopements and small weddings in Melbourne.

Full HD is a good option for online viewing and smartphones. If you want to future-proof your film or watch it on a large-screen TV, 4K is the better choice. Please contact us if you would like to upgrade to 4K and it is not already included in your package.

Yes. Our main cameras record to two memory cards, and we keep backup copies of your wedding footage for up to 24 months. We usually bring three or four cameras and multiple audio recorders to each wedding, giving us reliable backups throughout the day.

Yes. Our drone pilot and drones are registered with CASA for commercial filming. Drone filming depends on suitable weather, venue permission and airspace restrictions. It may not be permitted near airports or in restricted areas.

Yes. We can film corporate content including interviews, event highlights, vox pops, brand videos and social media clips. We have worked with marketing agencies, companies and universities. Yes. We hold public liability insurance for up to $2 million, and all crew members have current Working with Children Checks. I have also completed first-aid training for emergency situations.

Late afternoon is ideal for outdoor portraits near the Marriage Registry at the Old Treasury Building, particularly during the final two hours before sunset. An afternoon ceremony allows us to make the most of the soft late-afternoon light for portraits afterwards.

It typically includes preparations, the ceremony, speeches and other important moments, edited in a natural storytelling style so you can relive the day as it happened. This style of film is included in The Polished and The Full Journey packages. If you prefer a shorter cinematic overview, our packages also include highlight films featuring the most emotional and memorable moments of the day. Yes. We bring portable lighting equipment to every wedding. If a venue becomes too dark—particularly during the reception, speeches or first dance—we use subtle, unobtrusive lighting to keep the footage clear and natural. It blends with the venue’s existing lighting, enhances the atmosphere and helps us create a polished, cinematic film.

Your final videos depend on the package you choose: • Packages with six or more hours of coverage include a cinematic highlight film plus full edits of the ceremony, speeches and first dance, unless you upgrade to a full documentary film. • Packages with eight or more hours of coverage include both a cinematic highlight film and a 90–120-minute documentary-style wedding film. • The Full Journey package includes all of the above, plus three one-minute social media reels.
