Our three wedding film collections are Moments at A$2,699, Polished at A$3,499 and Full Journey at A$4,899. All prices include GST.

The right fit depends on your timeline, the films you would like and whether a second filmmaker is needed. Any applicable travel or agreed additional costs are set out in your quote. Compare packages and inclusions.

Moments provides up to six consecutive hours for a focused part of the day. Polished provides up to nine hours, giving more room for preparations, the ceremony, portraits and reception formalities. Full Journey provides up to twelve lead-filmmaker hours for a longer celebration, with a second filmmaker for one continuous block of up to six hours.

Martin is scheduled as your lead filmmaker. Moments and Polished include one filmmaker; Full Journey also includes a second filmmaker for the agreed six-hour block.

Full Journey includes a second filmmaker for one continuous block of up to six hours. The block is planned around your timeline—for example, preparations through the ceremony and portraits, or the ceremony through portraits and part of the reception.

A second perspective can be useful when events overlap or you want more reactions captured. The included block cannot be split into separate sessions.

The approach is calm and story-led, with attention to voices, reactions and the atmosphere around you. There is room for gentle guidance when useful, but the aim is to let you enjoy your celebration rather than turn it into a performance.

Yes—tell Martin which traditions, people and moments matter most to you. For Polished and Full Journey, cultural performances and dancing can form part of the documentary when they fall within booked coverage and are reasonably available to film.

Sharing the timing and any filming restrictions in advance helps shape the coverage. An event outside the booked hours is not automatically included.

We film in Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas. Travel is free for weddings in the Yarra Valley and on the Mornington Peninsula across all three collections.

For other locations, Moments includes travel where every filming location is within 50 km driving distance of Melbourne Central. Polished and Full Journey include 100 km, measured the same way using Google Maps.

Outside the free-travel regions, travel beyond your collection’s allowance is A$2 per excess kilometre, including GST. We use the one-way driving distance to the furthest filming location, then subtract your allowance. Any necessary extra crew-vehicle travel is itemised in your quote, not automatically charged at double the rate.

If filming locations fall both inside and outside the free-travel regions, Martin will confirm any applicable travel charge in your written quote. Any agreed parking or accommodation costs remain separate from the free-travel inclusion.

Yes. Coverage hours are consecutive, so travel between preparations, the ceremony, portraits and reception counts towards the booked time. Coverage does not pause for gaps in the schedule unless a different arrangement has been agreed in advance.

Timeline planning includes a one-hour contingency buffer within the booked coverage. It is not an extra free hour or an extension to the agreed finish time.

Additional coverage is subject to availability and express approval from either client named in the agreement. For the lead filmmaker, the first approved extra hour is A$300; further coverage is A$150 per commenced 30 minutes, with renewed approval.

If the second filmmaker is also needed for longer, their first approved extra hour is A$150, followed by A$75 per commenced 30 minutes. All prices include GST. The first approved hour remains chargeable if ended early. Any brief courtesy extension is discretionary and cannot be planned in advance. Extra coverage does not automatically add another film or guarantee a longer edit.

Tolls and parking at preparation and portrait locations are included. We also include a total A$20 wedding-day parking allowance. If restricted ceremony or reception parking makes commercial parking necessary, only the documented excess is passed through without markup, subject to the agreed quotation and terms.

Accommodation may be needed when a wedding is more than three hours’ drive from Melbourne CBD and filming starts before 10 am or finishes after 10 pm. Any required accommodation—including separate rooms for scheduled filmmakers—is agreed within a written cost cap before booking.

For coverage of four hours or more, please arrange a substantial meal for each scheduled filmmaker and drinking water. Coverage of ten hours or more spanning two normal meal periods needs two meals. Let Martin know in advance if your venue cannot cater, so an alternative can be agreed.

A highlight film brings selected moments together into a shorter wedding story. Moments includes a 3–4 minute highlight film; Polished includes 6–7 minutes; Full Journey includes 7–8 minutes.

A documentary is a longer edit of the events captured during your coverage. Polished’s is usually around 60–90 minutes and can run longer to preserve the formalities in full. Full Journey’s is usually around 90–120 minutes. Moments includes full ceremony, speech and first-dance edits instead of a documentary.

Full Journey also includes three distinct social edits of approximately 30 seconds each, delivered in both vertical and landscape MP4 versions with the main collection.

Yes, when those events take place within your booked coverage and are reasonably available to film. Moments includes the full ceremony, every captured speech and the first dance as event edits. Polished and Full Journey preserve them in the documentary without shortening their content.

Documentary durations are estimates, not a reason to cut down your speeches. Events outside coverage or recordings that are unusable are not guaranteed.

Initial completed films are delivered within 10 calendar weeks for Moments, 16 calendar weeks for Polished and 18 calendar weeks for Full Journey, measured from your wedding date, provided requested client inputs are received by the agreed deadlines.

Revisions follow their own feedback timetable and are separate from initial delivery.

Moments is delivered online. Polished and Full Journey include online delivery and a USB, posted after you approve the completed collection.

Polished and Full Journey include complimentary 4K delivery; Moments does not. Your collection’s agreed deliverables specify the formats supplied. There is no separate public 4K upgrade charge for Polished or Full Journey.

Two revision rounds are included. One round means one consolidated feedback submission covering the complete collection. Both rounds must be requested within three months after the initial films are sent.

We usually return each revision within approximately two weeks of receiving your consolidated feedback. A new creative edit or additional deliverable is discussed separately before any extra work or cost is agreed.

The included revision-round limits and feedback deadline do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You are welcome to share music preferences, or leave the selection to the editor. Final music needs to suit the film and be legally licensable under our applicable licence.

If a requested song cannot be used, we select an appropriate licensed alternative.

No. Your collection includes the edited films listed in your agreement, not the unedited camera files. Raw footage can be discussed as a separate order before or after the wedding, subject to availability within the archive period.

Ask Martin to confirm the scope, price, format and delivery before ordering. Raw files are not a finished documentary and can include incomplete or unusable material.

Archived client footage, finished edits held online for client delivery or archive, and the hard-drive archive backup are kept for two years from the wedding date. Those periods run alongside each other; they are not added together.

Download access is separate from archive storage. Please download and keep your own copies within the download window stated in your collection agreement. Contract-authorised public portfolio films may remain online longer, within the permission agreed. Read our privacy policy.

Enquire once you know your wedding date and likely venue or locations. That gives Martin enough information to check availability and discuss suitable coverage.

If your wedding is soon, you are still welcome to ask. Availability needs to be checked for your specific date; making an enquiry does not reserve it.

Start with your date, locations and the moments you would like filmed. Martin will check availability and prepare a written quote. A booking is confirmed once the agreement is signed and the required booking payment is received.

Your quote and agreement set out the payment amounts, due dates, coverage and terms before you commit. Check your date here. We aim to reply within one business day.

Contact Martin as soon as possible so you can discuss the circumstances and, for a new date, check availability. Any change to coverage, pricing or arrangements needs to be agreed in writing.

The terms in your signed agreement and your applicable consumer rights govern cancellation or rescheduling. This FAQ does not replace those terms or promise that a new date will be available.

Permission for public use is agreed through your client contract. Any use must stay within the permission agreed for your film; this FAQ does not grant permission.
