I work on my own and with the second shooter depending on the details and size of the wedding. Generally, as a rule for weddings with a guest count over 150 guests or coverage over 10 hrs, I would recommend a second shooter, for less than, I feel confident filming on my own. But I will be able to give you my recommendation given your exact plans for your wedding.
For elopements and small weddings in Melbourne, I work on my own.

Late afternoon sun near the Marriage Registry at Old Treasury Building is best for outdoor portraits - generally in the final two hours before sunset. This is my favourite time of day to shoot, so I prefer an afternoon Registry ceremony so we can make the most of the late afternoon for portraits afterwards.
